Dear All,
It is not surprising that Karen Handel cancelled her appearance at Temple Emanu El, so Lucy was forced to cancel her appearance tonight. I will keep you posted on any changes.
Tomorrow night, Stacey Abrams will be in her first face-off debate with Brian Kemp. This will be broadcast on GPB television tomorrow night. There will be a second debate on Nov. 4 that will be broadcast on WSB-TV.
We are in the final days of our campaigns and everybody needs to help! Post cards and letter writing campaigns are probably our most effective tools right now. Please call or email the campaigns to volunteer. This is the most important election of our lifetimes, and we don’t want to say, “If only I’d…” Volunteering to drive people to the polls would be a HUGE help!
Politics is not a spectator sport: it demands that you get involved in an active way. It takes a lot more to win an election that just voting.
