If you thought the Nov 6th election was important, the upcoming run-off with John Barrow running for Secretary of State is the most important election ever! If we can get John Barrow elected, we have a greater chance of ending voter suppression and truly ensuring that every vote counts. We NEED YOUR HELP! Money is imperative! I will keep you apprised of activities as I get them. In the meantime, please talk to every Democrat you know about the importance of the run-off election on December 4th. Our HUGE thanks to our East Cobb Candidates! We are so proud of the work that you did in your elections! Luisa Wakeman, Essence Johnson and Christine Triebsch all worked so hard for their respective posts. And a huge thanks to all the countless volunteers who worked for them. Although we did not win, we made great inroads, and we can look forward to future wins because of the work that y’all did. AND OF COURSE, WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER THAT Lucy McBath beat Karen Handel, again, with a lot of hard work from East Cobbers! Thanks so much.
As we go into the Thanksgiving holiday, there is much we can be thankful for, but most of all, we’ve got great Democrats who are doing great work, more than ever before!
No meeting on Tuesday, but please plan to join the Cobb Democratic Women and Cobb County Democratic Committee for the annual holiday party on Dec. 2nd at Taylor Brauner Hall in Smyrna.
