Gift Swap

I was thinking last night about the gift swap for the party on Sunday. May I recommend we have our middle schoolers join in as well, even though they have a swap with YF. I think we only have two elementary students attending, which would be a rather boring swap…(or we could even open it up to one gift each and let the adults join in as well…)

Hello Jana and fellowship,

I actually thought about exactly the same thing, and to some extent this came down to our small-size fellowship. If we include the YF in the gift exchange:

• Pros - More participants and more fun
• Cons - It's hard to choose a gift to cover a wide age range. The parents may be short on time to prepare one extra gift

My proposal - Why don't we make this optional? In other words, for the YF, please feel free to join the gift exchange, but this is not mandatory.
