Hey Everyone,
We hope that you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and were able to survive Black Friday uninjured. As many of you all know, the DREAM Act will be voted on in Congress this week (and as early as today). There has been a lot of recent coverage on this act since Sen. Reid announced that the DREAM Act was going to be voted on again this week.Well to keep the good vibes going around, MeChA de Penn wanted to let you know of some amazing progress that was made here at Penn.
Last week the Undergraduate Assembly (UA) of the University of Pennsylvania passed a resolution in support of the educational aspects of the DREAM Act! In addition the UA agreed to send a letter to the Senators and Congressmen of Pennsylvania!!!
The resolution that passed is attached.
