[ECCSF] Updates and Information!

Hello everyone!
Most of you may already be signed up with DREAM Activist, but in cas you're not, there is a very important gathering coming up. There needs to be a great push for the DREAM Act, and sometimes this means showing up in numbers. From Monday, July 19th to Wednesday, July 21st there will be a mass mobilization in Washington D.C. to show how many Americans are in support of the DREAM Act. If you're in the area or if you are up for a road trip please try to make it out. There is a registration (registration - here) that DREAM Activist has, so if you plan on going, sign-up so they can count you. Here's some more information regarding the mobilization that you all may find interesting. There are some buses starting from the west coast, so if you know anything about those and you'd like to share the info please share. I've started a fb event so everyone can share the information they would like much more easily. Invite members from your org and share the information with them.
In other news. As most of you know, Arizona passed a very controversial law this year - SB 1070. Recently the Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Arizona's new law. Here is a video explaining more and if you cannot watch the video now, here is a more detailed article.
Update on the ECCSF letter. As soon as the board signs it, it will be mailed off to those senators who have not yet supported the DREAM Act and to other figures we can get a hold of. Before sending off the letter, I will send out the final outcome.
