ICYMI...The draft of the revised City of New Haven Comprehensive Plan, the most complete statement of the city's long-term planning and development priorities, has been released. Chapter Five is about
transportation and is worth reading in toto. Most of it is pretty good --
> Elm City Cycling is mentioned by name as a partner the city is working
> with, and they make reference to the Elm City Cycling 2012 Bike Plan.
> Chapter 5, page 10 is a map of the existing and proposed bike/ped network.
> Pages 19-20 give recommendations about bicycle and pedestrian
> infrastructure.

> The Bike Plan Subcommittee should take a look and see if there are
> significant problems or omissions.

> There will be at least one public hearing at City Plan Commission, probably
> one at both CPC and the Board of Alders. I would strongly urge ECC as an
