AttributeError: generateId
Thanks for reporting this.

I tried to replicate this several times and everything worked
OK - so Petri will investigate it in a few days when he is back
online.
What would help is if you can tell us more about your setup.
I'll assume you have ATDataMerge and 'compatible' installed as
well.
We are testing on a system that is:
Plone 2.5.1,
CMF-1.6.2,
Zope (Zope 2.9.5-final, python 2.4.3, linux2),
Five 1.3.7,
Python 2.4.3 (#1, May 13 2006, 17:16:09) [GCC 3.2.3 20030502 (Red
Hat Linux 3.2.3-54)],
AT Schema Editor: 0.4.4 (SVN/Unreleased)
I was successfully able to both:
a) Set-up an action edition (Simple Petition)
b) Complete the action edition (Simple Petition)
I don't read tracebacks very well (I don't do the development -
just the 'campaigning' needs of the tool and the testing), but
from what I can tell, it looks like the issue might be related to
the storage of the action record. In this version, this was
moved to the zope level (vs CMF/Plone level) and thus the issue
could be with the Zope version.
If you identify any differences in the products installed above
that might help Petri to identify the issue.
Cheers,
Duane

I have ATDM & compatible installed, as well as ATSE (I should check the
version, though.)
I may not have fully wiped eC 0.1.9, though... I will blow away that
entire site and try again from definitely-scratch.
best,
jon

This bug is now fixed and in svn (be sure to check out the 0.2.0
branch as it is the one we are working on)
We'll set up an issue tracking system for this shortly - until
then it is fine to continue to post them here.
Cheers,
Duane
PS - happy new year :-)
eCampaigning Tool 0.2.0 Alpha is now released and ready for your
testing :-) (I should have posted here first - but forgot - so
hopefully all of you are also on the PloneNGO list.)
You can get it from: http://plone.org/products/ecampaigning-tool/
Documentation (including an 'Editor Guide' is available at:
http://fairsay.com/labs/ectool/docs/?utm_source=pngo&utm_medium=e
ml
(this needs updating as it is still for 0.1.9 but most is still
valid)
Now that there is a 'packaged' release, I hope more of you can be
involved in participating in improving the tool.
If you are installing it on a Plone instance where you had past
versions, it would be good to:
1) Uninstall the old version and ideally delete it from the file
system
2) Delete ecampaigning properties in portal_properties (ZMI)
3) You might also need to use the 'Update Schema' tab of the
archetype_tool (ZMI)
Cheers,
Duane
