An update regarding GERD fundraiser.
Our fundraiser for GERD reached more $8000 at this time, $6000 in Lancaster and $2000 in the Harrisburg area. Again We really thank and appreciate who already pitched as our country is heading to fill the dam for the second year.
We also would like to invite all to the GERD fundraising zoom meeting which will be held on Saturday May 22 at 1:00PM.
We anticipate the meeting will be educational and informative for all participants
Our panelists will discuss
- [ ] The historical water use in the Nile basin
- [ ] The progress of the project and the 2nd filling
- [ ] Our country's power use including power sharing during shortages
- [ ] Ethiopia's water resources and the geopolitics of the region.
