About the Speakers:

Joe Lutes, Certified Mentor, SCORE Bucks County
Joseph Lutes spent his entire 45-year career on the financial side of business. He spent 23 years at Philadelphia-based Delaware Investments rising from mail clerk to SVP/ Chief Financial Officer and Partner. He later formed a specialty finance company in New York with several others and sold that a few years later. He then was CFO/partner of a Philadelphia based Private Equity firm. After losing acquaintances in 9/11 he rethought his life and decided to change directions. Over a period of ten years, he was the Finance Director for three major local Not for Profits focusing on children where he implemented business planning and operating strategies until 2014.

Fred Weinhold, Certified Mentor, SCORE Bucks County
Fred's initial career in federal government and TVA focused on developing new energy technologies and related government policies (including US Navy nuclear program). He developed commercial coal gasification and waste-to -energy projects for TVA. Subsequently, Fred started a consulting business focused on waste-to-energy (scrap tires). In parallel he served as treasurer/financial manager for several nonprofits (including churches). Fred has mentored many clients in startup, business plans, strategic planning and financial planning. He currently focuses on nonprofit clients and assisting for-profit clients apply for locally-based and special business loans.
