My name is Tom Nakanishi (former ECAASU board member) and I¹m writing to you
all today to ask if you will take a minute and check out a new online
service my friends and I have launched called AskBeforeCollege.com.
We are a peer-driven information network that allows college students to
raise funds for the student group or charity of their choice by answering
high school students¹ questions about college and posting information about
their university, college towns and student groups.
In the first two weeks of our beta launch, AskBeforeCollege.com has college
students answering questions at over 100 campuses across the country - some
belonging to student groups or non-profit organizations who have also begun
raising awareness and funds for the groups of their choice.
ECAASU has become one of these featured organizations on
AskBeforeCollege.com, which means that you and other ECAASU members who
sign-up at www.AskBeforeCollege.com <http://www.AskBeforeCollege.com> can
raise money for ECAASU by being part of AskBeforeCollege.
Using the school provided (.edu) email address to sign-up and by sharing
your experiences on your college campuses with prospective students, you can
help ECAASU raise funds for the 2008 conference at Cornell as well as other
regional events that ECAASU will be hosting up and down the East Coast.
Make sure to select ECAASU as your default charity in the profile settings
and hope ECAASU can benefit from becoming part of the AskBeforeCollege.com
network!
Best,
Tom Nakanishi
