The NYC Chapter of Citizen Action of New York is Hiring Two Full time Organizers for Permanent Positions
Join us in time to help shape our 2007-2008 issue campaigns.
Citizen Action of New York City, an established, progressive grassroots organization with New York State and National partners seeks experienced, energetic, hardworking, organizers for full time positions, who can start immediately. Responsibilities include: educating and mobilizing New Yorkers around legislative and electoral campaigns, organizing and working in coalition with the progressive community on a variety of issues, identifying and recruiting new volunteers, and building CANY's membership base. Candidates who are effective writers, organized, thorough, able to supervise others and strongly committed to building the progressive community should apply immediately. Must be able to work nights or weekends when needed.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience,
Full health benefits (no premium)
