Board Committees Opportunities

Dear all,

The OA Book Usage Data Trust (OAEBUDT) effort has recently published the charters for 2 new Committees that are currently being formed:

• Membership and Sustainability Committee

• Technical Advisory Council Committee 

I’m reaching out to share this with you in case anyone would be interested in putting their name forward to be considered by the Board for either of the Committee’s above. If that is the case, here are the next action points for you:

2. Please review our formative governance documentation which describes how the Board of Trustees and their board committees function to provide strategy and oversight to the OAEBUDT effort.

The plan is to start with once-a-month meetings from January 2024 onwards. We have the chair for the Technical Advisory Council Committee confirmed (Tasha Mellins-Cohen).

Ideally, we would like to gather interest from the applicants by the end of October.
