Most HEvKA meetings were cancelled for the holiday.  5 people (BA, CE, HL, KS, KW) from 1 country (USA) participated this week in up to 3 active working group meetings.

The StudyRegistryRecord Profile Working Group (a BRR EBMonFHIR sub-WG) created a ResearchStudySite Profile in the Evidence Based Medicine on FHIR Implementation Guide: https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/ebm/en/StructureDefinition-research-study-site.html, and reviewed an upcoming Request For Information (RFI) at https://public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2025-23641.pdf for United States Department of Health and Human Services RFI on Accelerating the Adoption and Use of Artificial Intelligence as part of Clinical Care.

 

Releases on the FEvIR Platform

 

FEvIR® Platform Release 1.17.0 (December 22, 2025) adds a ResearchStudySite Profile consistent with the Evidence Based Medicine on FHIR Implementation Guide.

 

Computable Publishing®: Summary Of Net Effect Authoring Tool Release 1.9.0 (December 22, 2025) only displays the Change Baseline Risk Estimates button if the SummaryOfNetEffect has a subject (target population) for which the ComparatorOnlyEvidence Resources will reference.

 

Computable Publishing®: Summary Of Findings Authoring Tool Release 1.4.0 (December 22, 2025) only displays the Change Baseline Risk Estimates button if the SummaryOfFindings has a subject (target population) for which the ComparatorOnlyEvidence Resources will reference.

The StatisticsOnFHIR Working Group (a CDS EBMonFHIR sub-WG) revised a paper “The Scientific Evidence Code System (SEVCO): A Consensus Derived Standard Terminology” in preparation for journal submission in January.

Computable Publishing®: EU CTIS-to-FEvIR Converter Release 0.14.0 (December 23, 2025) converts isFemaleSubjects, isMaleSubjects, and isVulnerablePopulationSelected boolean values to ResearchStudy.classifier Coding values.

 

Computable Publishing®: ClinicalTrials.gov-to-FEvIR Converter Release 4.43.0 (December 23, 2025) creates ResearchStudy.classifier Coding values instead of text values for includes-females, does-not-include-females, includes-males, does-not-include-males, includes-healthy-volunteers, and does-not-include-healthy-volunteers.

Computable Publishing®: EU CTIS-to-FEvIR Converter Release 0.15.0 (December 24, 2025) changes the identifier system for the primary EU CTIS identifier from 'https://euclinicaltrials.eu' to 'https://euclinicaltrials.eu/clinicalTrialId'.

 

FEvIR® Platform Release 1.18.0 (December 26, 2025) adds a 'DIO' boolean data entry element to each outcome in the 'Create Synthesis Findings Set' data entry interface, resulting in creating intended outcomes instead of observed outcomes in the Evidence.variableDefinition values.
