The Seven Deadly Sins is a topic that have my attention and I am very interested in it. But everytime I do a search about that subject, this anime pops up. I first thought it was about FMA:B, the anime that got me into this subject in the first place, but it turn out that I was wrong. So I assumed that because this anime exists, the subject of the actual Seven Deadly Sins is not talked that much, do not take that in the wrong way. This also happens with Thor, a lot of people thinks about the superhero rather than the mythology itself.
Anyways, that is why I am asking the following question: Is the anime Nanatsu No Taizai related to the actual Seven Deadly Sins or it is its own thing? I am not sure if the anime is the same thing or if it follows the same thing, but I know and care about facts like Pride being the original and the most serious/powerful/dangerous/deadliest sin of them all.
By the way, I read the rules from this community before posting in it, and I hope my question is not breaking any rules, and especially with rule #4 which is about Low Effort Content. If it does, I will understand if I see my post being eliminated. But please do not kick me out from the community too soon, since I am interested to watch this anime as well as I am to read the manga maybe. Have a good day.
