Vistalizator is a free and legal way to bypass the restrictions placed on your operating system by Microsoft whereby you are able to install and use different language packs on Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 for free.Though the actual language packs aren't included with Vistalizator, they are freely available from Microsoft.One of the times where Vistalizator comes in handy is when you purchase a laptop in a country where they don't speak your native language; in many cases, you are not given the ability to choose your keyboard layout or your system language because the version of Windows is more often than not Windows Home editions.Highly recommended if you need to install a different language on Windows.Features of Vistalizator

I use a Windows 7 pro and its originally using Japanese and i decided to install the Russian language pack using vistalizator for some localization work and when i try to check some program print properties page it showed up quite weird.
Recently, I tried to install a language using Vistalizator. I installed the required updates, changed the language and restarted my computer. The computer didn't boot up, so I had to restore my system to a system restore point. The language i was trying to install is English. After restoring my system, the bootscreen was set to English, but the rest of my computer was just my old language (Dutch). Later I downloaded a language-file (.cab) and tried to install it using "Install or Uninstall a display language". But i got an error: Language already installed.
LIP provides a translated version of the most widely used areas of the user interface, is available as free download and can be installed on any edition of Windows 7 and Windows Vista. As not all of the user interface is translated, LIPs require at least one parent MUI language, such as English, German or Spanish, so that the parts of the user interface that are not translated into the LIP language are displayed in the parent language. The parent MUI language pack needs to be installed before the LIP can be installed.
On the other hand, MUI provides a translated version of most of the user interface. All installed Windows operating system has one MUI language pack by default, which corresponds to the language version of the Windows license. Additional MUI language packs, although also available for free, does not require license to use. Microsoft only allows pricier editions of Windows to be able to install MUI, which can be downloaded from Windows Update. The supported editions of Windows 7 are Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise. MUI is not available for cheaper editions of Windows, such as Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic, Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional and Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Business.
For non-MUI-supported editions of Windows 7 or Vista, user can choose to upgrade directly to Ultimate edition via Windows Anytime Upgrade which available for both Windows 7 and Vista (payment required though) if he or she wants to install multiple languages. For users who want to switch to another language version of Windows permanently, you will need to clean install Windows by using DVD or ISO image of Windows in that particular language with data and settings transferred via Windows Easy Transfer, despite the product key works on any language version. More advanced option is to slipstream the MUI language packs into the Windows installation file and then do a clean install of Windows again. The easiest alternative, there is a hack that allows MUI language packs to be installed even on unsupported edition Windows operating system. The ability to install MUI language packs on all and any editions of Windows was first developed by Chinese hackers when Windows Vista was released, and has since been perfected by a program called Vistalizator.

The Multilingual Language Pack (MUI) can be installed on Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise editions only. For example if you have Windows 7 Starter edition or Windows 7 Home Basic edition, you will not be able to install the language pack and Windows will only run with the default language pack installed with Windows.
There is a third party software called Vistalizator. Vistalizator can install the MUI language packs even on the non-supported Windows operating systems like Windows 7 Starter and Windows 7 Home Basic. Vistalizator can also be used with Windows Vista. Worked a treat with a tweak
I had someone approach me to help change the language on his laptop running Vista Home Premium from Spanish to English; He did however fail to inform me that he had purchased the said laptop in Spain hence his problem. I found your site and followed the instructions for the Vista Home Premium solution and there is only one tweak I can offer. This is that after the MUI has finished compiling the new language pack from the .cab file and you get the message saying installation complete, when you return to the MUI tools software IF THE APPLY BUTTON IS AVAILABLE TO BE PRESSED THEN JUST PRESS IT, DO NOT TRY AND SELECT ANYTHING ELSE. If you do the Apply button will disappear again and become unavailable and you will have to start the process all over again following a reboot.

I tried the MUI tool 2.55 hen
I tried the MUI tool 2.55 hen the program was trying to install or read the .cab file (file that was just generated by the program) it shows and error and it couldnt install it. I tried the Vistalizator 2.10 and use the language pack (shown is this website) and so far works fine. thanks Arthur

I switched my language from french to english and am now regretting it because its screwing up everything.
How do i return to how it was before?
I have finally found a fix for the vistalizator problem, first run the program in the compatibility settings set to windows 7 and choose tye language pack you want to use, then when the program shows the message that says save your work and exit the program to apply changes instead of closing the program normally terminate it via task manager then restart manually.
