Decanter of Ixtilton

(Silver and Dragonshard Decanter*)

 

Telepathic/M [INT: 15, WIS: 15]

Armor Bonus: +1 Luck

Armor Bonus: +1 EMI (Level/2; round down)

 

Feat(s): Brew Potion

 

Acts like Decanter of Endless Water (can also do alcoholic beverages; 100 gallons of fluid/day)

 

Acts like Cape of the Mountebank

 

Blessings of the Brewmaster (3x/day) – Can create one of the following potions (9th level of ability). Each of which will last, as a potion, for 2d6 minutes, then revert into a very tasty beer:

  • Bear's Endurance
  • Bull's Strength
  • Cat's Grace
  • Eagle's Splendor
  • Fox's Cunning
  • Owl's Wisdom
  • Cure Moderate Wounds

 

Elixir of Ixtilton (1x/week) – Can create four draughts of the elixir, each of which will last for 2d6 minutes, once imbibed.   All draughts must be imbibed within 1d4 rounds of creation or they revert into a very tasty beer   Each draught grants different effects and can only be used once per week.   You cannot skip a draught as each must be drunk in succession.  However, all effects can be running concurrently.

  • 1st Draught (Liquid Courage ) – grants +5 to Bluff, Intimidate & Diplomacy and -5 to Hide, Gather Information & Move Silent; also heals 1d8+5 wounds.
  • 2nd Draught (Drunken Might ) – grants +4 STR and -4 DEX; also heals 2d8+10 wounds.
  • 3rd Draught (Drunken Insight ) – grants +5 to all INT- and WIS-based skill checks and -5 to all STR- and DEX-based skill checks; also heals 3d8+15 wounds
  • 3rd Draught (Social Invisibility ) – grants blur (as spell; 9th level); also heals 4d8+20 wounds

 

*Can shapeshift into a large water/wineskin, a jug or a decanter of any reasonable material (i.e. no hellfire wyrm-skin wineskin or baatorian steel jugs) to blend in to its environment.   The Decanter, who likes to be called "Deke", doesn't like to draw attention to himself.
