Rachel Hooper and Gabriel Tolson from CEQA Works and the Planning and Conservation League (PCL) will join as guest speakers. Hooper is a CEQA attorney at Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger and on the Steering Committee of CEQA Works. Tolson is a policy professional for PCL and has a background in water rights and environmental justice.
Following the swift passage of SB 131, state leaders vowed to work on a clean-up to improve key components of the bill, including necessary protections for the habitat of threatened and endangered species. We aim to hold state leaders accountable and raise our voices to ensure this commitment is fulfilled. The final portion of this webinar will include a participatory component with step-by-step instructions on how to contact your state representatives and advocate for these important amendments.
