Hi All,
I didn't realize this would have to be mentioned this early but  I have seen some sun scald occurring in different parts of the garden. Mild cases of sun scald give you a bright red tomato with a bright yellow top worst cases give you a greenish brown tomato. If your plant still has plenty of leaves there should be no problem.  Tomatoes need some shade so burlap will work (there may be some in the shed )  or some lattice work would be ok.
Adrienne has been pulling weeds in the paths. Carmella , Anita , Singh, Gian and many others have been watering the melons , pumpkins and figs in the side yard, Once the heat wave really breaks we should have a weeding day again.
See you in the garden !
Tony
