The document scanner is an OnSong Premium feature that lets you use your device's camera to import songs into your OnSong library. You simply line up the camera with pages on a table or music stand. The document scanner finds rectangles that look like paper and snap the shot. It automatically perspective corrects your pages.
The document scanner is available in OnSong 2020.0 and requires iOS/iPadOS 13 or higher because of the advanced computer vision that is being used. You'll also need to have OnSong Premium to use this feature.

I'm trying to fully replace Evernote with Joplin. Im an Android user, and I need something to replace the document scanner functionality of Evernote in Android. Any recommendations? My main features are auto page scan and OCR.
Hi there! That's great to hear that you're interested in potentially working on a document scanner integration for Joplin. I haven't seen any discussions about this specifically, but it sounds like a really useful feature.
Anyway, there is now a plugin called Joplin Hot Folder that monitors a local folder and imports anything that appears in that folder into Joplin as a note. It could be used as a target folder for a scanner.
I scan my PDF documents with a Fujitsu ScanSnap IX100 and upload them with the Synology drive to a share of my Syno, where they are converted to a PDF with text overlay by OCRmyPDF which runs on Docker on the Syno. Afterwards this PDF stored i a second folder and from the hotfolder plugin imported into Joplin.

In this study, a measurement protocol is presented that improves the precision of dose measurements using a flat-bed document scanner in conjunction with two new GafChromic film models, HS and Prototype A EBT exposed to 6 MV photon beams. We established two sources of uncertainties in dose measurements, governed by measurement and calibration curve fit parameters contributions. We have quantitatively assessed the influence of different steps in the protocol on the overall dose measurement uncertainty. Applying the protocol described in this paper on the Agfa Arcus II flat-bed document scanner, the overall one-sigma dose measurement uncertainty for an uniform field amounts to 2% or less for doses above around 0.4 Gy in the case of the EBT (Prototype A), and for doses above 5 Gy in the case of the HS model GafChromic film using a region of interest 2 X 2 mm2 in size.

Two DynamoDB tables are created. A Project table, which tracks all the project names by user, and a Pages table, which tracks pages by project and user. The DynamoDB tables are created by the AWS SAM template with the partition key and range key defined for each table. These are used by the Lambda functions to query and sort items.
