Hello September cyclists,
Elections for the Board of Directors will take place. EBC needs Board members with a diverse skill set and a passion for bikes, active transportation, not-for-profit development, inclusive education, community development, and local living. Information on how to nominate someone, or how to apply yourself, can be found here.
Volunteer awards will be presented to some of our outstanding volunteers of the past year. Did you get help or have a noteworthy interaction with one of our volunteers? Nominate him or her for an award! Details to do so are here.
In lieu of a very tardy newsletter, I am sending you an invitation to attend our Annual General Meeting this Sunday.
Get info about what Edmonton’s community bike shop and advocacy organization is up to for the coming year. Get involved in some of our projects if you want to move bicycle transportation forward!

As the summer has shown, a lot is happening in Edmonton's cycling transportation-- addition of bike infrastructure, more people cycling, and more media attention on cycling. EBC has a big year ahead and your presence at the AGM will help us roll with confidence. Please join us.
