Bike Racks on Buses

Last week EBC tested out a new bike rack design on ETS buses. We took your feedback with us. Now, you have an opportunity to demo the bike racks in-person, to see how easy they are to use, whether or not they fit your bike, etc. Do you have a winter bike with 3" tires? A really long bike, or a really short bike, or a really tall bike? A 14-pound carbon fibre racing bike? Here is your opportunity to test it out with the proposed new bus bike rack, and let ETS know your thoughts directly.

We have yet to confirm the final time (which will be posted on our website once we have), but this Friday we'll have an ETS bus at BikeWorks South to demo the bike rack. You can e-mail us to receive a further notice as soon as we've confirmed the exact details.

(Got a folding bike? You can already simply fold it up and take it with you onto the bus!)

Services

Winter Hours

BikeWorks North and South have both moved to winter hours. Check our website for full details; you'll also find the winter hours listed at the bottom of this e-mail. We'll be focusing on volunteer training and bike building through the winter, so keep an eye out on our website for details about taking intermediate to advanced mechanic training courses.

Electrician needed

We need a bit of help with some basic wiring at BikeWorks South. If you know, or are, an electrician that would like to donate a few hours of time, we'd be forever grateful. E-mail us to talk about details.
