Dear Victoria,
I am writing to you to complain about incompetent work of one of our interns Stefan. We regret to inform you that we were no at all satisfied with his work at our school. You can imagine our disappointment when we discovered that Stefan doesn’t meet the requirements of our school. We have tried to find a solution of this problem buy unfortunately without any success.
After his arrival Stefan was sent as a host of speaking clubs to our branch office in Prigorodnaya street. He was supposed to have single lessons there but he was leading lessons in a wrong way telling his own problems connected with his health and accommodation. After some unsuccessful lessons he refused to go to that branch and showed willingness to work only at the main office in Krasnych Partizan street. As there are no students who would like to study with him here he acts as an assistant at lessons of our other teachers. I can say that he doesn’t have necessary competences as a teacher that we need. Two weeks ago a seminar for new teachers was organized in our school. Everybody came but not him. Stefan didn’t prevent about his absence and didn’t answer the phone. The seminar was very important as we discussed a lot of things which were supposed to help him and other teachers without big experience to work .
Inter alia he is always late for lessons therefore he is not enough prepared for them. He helps with lessons of all levels from Beginner till Advanced and those who have a high level of English language notice that Stefan makes a lot of mistakes in grammar and spelling and that is why they don’t want to work with him. Every time he says that he is not able to teach kids but at the same time when he is explained what to do and gets a task for further preparation he spends not more than 10 minutes for it.
As you can see there are many discontents about his work (incompetence, systematic delay, failure to comply with dress code).
Because of non-compliance with the rules of our school I want to refuse Stefan’s service and to get another intern.
