First Post... I would like to make a Keyboard Shortcut for "Vertices' in the 'Guides' Palette.

But I cannot seem to make it work, any help appreciated. Patrick

The Snap Vertices menu command is on Format main menu, Grids and Guides submenu.  To add a keyboard shortcut: go to the EazyDraw menu and open Menu Keys. There you find all the menus represented as a disclosure tree.  Open Format menu, then Grids and Guides, select the Snap Vertices menu item (on the menu keys palette), then click Modify.  There is where you add the short cut, pick your key and modifier(s) .

Of course the Attributes bar has a convenient button for this, that button is probably quicker to click than a key with modifiers.  Since there is the button, that is why there is not a default command key assigned.

Or -- if you did not quite follow the description, go to Help and use search phrase Menu Keys.

Or - there is a video tutorial in the Additions Pack for Menu Keys and Quick Keys.

New public beta.  https://www.eazydraw.com/betaDownload.htm  . Text box now grows as typing continues and  text is seen.  Enhanced font and typeface defaults with a new popup menu to define the default scope to Layer, Drawing, or App global.   The Current and Default button on Font panel now support the full EazyDraw condensed default actions: temporary or permanent action with Cmd key modifier.

Thank you. The text box grows as I type. Probably good enough for me. But how do you keep it from growing if that's what you want? And will there be an indication of what is going on if you can set the size?

Where is the "popup menu to define the default scope?" Now maybe I see it, is it the drop down menu in the Fonts window? Or is there a popup menu somewhere else?

I don't know if "Menu Keys" was there before but it's welcome. Although in fact I might stick with Keyboard Maestro if it will do what I need. Two reasons: 1) I'm familiar with it, and 2) the shortcuts are automatically on my other Mac. Minor quibbles: 1) The menu item is "Menu Keys", but the box that pops up is labeled "Keyboard Shortcuts"—I think Keyboard Shortcuts is the more common terminology and  may be more technically correct because often one can do things that aren't available from the menu, 2) They is another menu item under Libraries "Manage Menus". Could be confusing. And as a long time macOS user I would expect Keyboard Shortcuts to available via "Cmd - , ". But frankly I don't understand EazyDraw's Preferences. For example what does Current and Default mean—but that's a topic for another conversation. On my computer the rollover descriptions of the icons are slow. I guess I rather have a list so I can see what my choices are at a glance.

Thank you for letting the text box grow.

Keep text box from growing: Use Lock -> Move, then it won't grow. Indication: text editing background changes color when content exceeds text box size; red tint if box will not grow (locked) and accent-compliment color if the text box will grow.

Popup menu: Text -> Font -> Font Panel, bottom right of the Font Panel.

Manage Menus: the item on the User Library menu only relates to managing the user library menu, nothing to do with any other menus.  Context is key there.

Keyboard Shortcuts -- too long a phrase in English, Advantage of two phrases, doubles odds a new user will discover when searching Help.

EazyDraw Preferences -- don't seek something complicated. It is ultra trivial.  Go to Help, use search phrase "Defaults Condensed" .  Practice on Color and Style, experiment and you'll see how simple and easy to use.  The same system applies on all the parameter palettes.   And remember: if you are not using these much shorten your parameter palette to save the screen space.

Tool Tip time:  adjust on Preferences panel.  It takes a quit and restart to adjust - that is all on macOS, not EazyDraw really.

Thanks for the prompt response. I'll check it out. And keep them in my notes.
