Looks like a good start for something that might support EAUT?

Hi Chris,

This is a good starting point. However if most users still log in the
old fashioned way (with a password), then I believe that most sites
would have a problem with making Login a 2 step process for the majority
of users.

What I find interesting about this is that they default to sending you a login URL by email... i.e. you enter an email address and they email you a link to sign in. I think this might be true for sign up as well.

Notably this is the default flow of Emailtoid.

It means you have to have handy access to your email address, but you at least don't need to remember a password.

I was going to point out http://an.tisanta.com (http://twitter.com/antisanta) as another example of this, but it looks like the guys didn't bother to renew the domain.

It *is* the most lightweight verification system there is. The guys wanted a no-mess no-fuss solution for a quick fun hack (all they asked was a nickname and email address). And, really, it's exactly the same as the retrieve password functionality of most systems.
