Hi Moms,

It made me very happy to see you all. I didn't get a full dose of Julie.. She was sitting too far away. But I loved seeing everybody and especially Saima and her beautiful bump.

I just heard that my cousin's son who is 4- years old is also refusing to poop in the potty. I'll let you know how that resolves when I hear.

As for showering, I remembered that I used to hold Alex in the shower as a baby. Have you tried holding your kids in the shower? I'm sure you have. How about smearing peanut butter in the tub and saying, oh shoot, there's poop in the bathtub. Do you want to take a bath in the poop?! Hmm.. That could backfire...

For a while, I used to shower at the same time while Alex bathed in his kid bathtub. I made the shower go as far away as possible so he would get minimal splashing. That helped save time... Then you could try a 'final rinse' for the kids in the shower with you with a fun song or we do a countdown to turn the water off.

I remember my cousins kid was obsessed with pacifiers and at some point she would say that Swiper (from Dora the Explorer ) took the ones that got lost. Though I tried that with Alex and he explained to me that Swiper isn't real...

How about buying boys pull- ups and saying they were out of girls pull- ups and it's boys or nothing...

How about traveling and forgetting to bring the pull ups and only having a baby potty on hand?

Just ideas... Since the diaper stubbornness sounds like a big hassle.

We are far from perfect over here. Alex decided yesterday to do his painting project on the white leather couch. Luckily he was using yellow and it all wiped away fine.

Hopefully I'll get to see everybody Friday. Are We still planning a Friday play date?

Would love to join for a play date, but I can't make it tomorrow after all. Was hoping to get a sitter for a few hours, so I could get some work done, but she wasn't available until Friday. Looking forward to Darcy going back to school next week!

Other than a sticker reward chart with presents for milestones, no other poop in the potty ideas from me--sorry!

Take care everybody and great seeing some of you!

Jessie

It was great seeing everyone last week!  We wouldn't have been able to come today either.  The kids are both sick and now I'm sick too :( Hopefully everyone is having a better week than us!
