Hi moms,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a day care or school that has an infant/toddler program in the Los Altos or Mountain View area that they could recommend.  Having a nanny come to the house wasn't working out for me.  I'm looking for something part-time for Isra.  If it's located somewhere near Ventana, that would be ideal.

For Saima:
I've heard great things about Children's House in Los Altos. Not sure what age they start...

Childcare is super stressful. Sorry you have to keep re-visiting it. 

Hope everybody is doing well with their little ones. I get so much joy from all the silliness and innocent questions and love from these little guys.

Darcy goes there and we've been happy with it. It starts at 2 years.

Most places start at 2 I think. I need to find something for a 17 month old. Thanks though!

There's a website that lets you check how many complaints have been filed against a registered daycare. I searched all day and can't find the link in my email. But I went back and looked up the daycares I visited for Alex and the ones that I raised an eyebrow at, sure enough, had complaints filed against them.

Years ago when I was searching, I used Community Child Care Council to check complaints, etc.  it also is a good search tool to locate daycare centers:
