Awwww...tooooo cute! She is just darling in her little red outfit, all smiles. I love it.
Zachary and I went to see Thomas the Train last weekend at the Colorado Train Museum, which was just magical! We had so much fun. William is doing great! He's at home with a wonderful nanny, and gets lots of outside time while the taking is good (there's weather here in the winter). We bought one of those hiking backpacks you stuff kids into and we've been discovering some amazing trails literally in our backyard! I can't believe I've been here 2 years and didn't know this was here. But then again, the first year I spent pregnant, and the second in babyland.
My Etsy shop has been a lot of fun. I've been busy making bags! I'm also half way through an elimination program (Whole30, if anyone has heard of it). It's going really well. The first 2 days without sugar and carbs hit me like a freight train, but now I am in the hang of it. The only problem is, I pretty much have to make my own dinner (thank heavens for Google making my breakfast and lunch, or else I would have never made it), and I pretty much suck at cooking. Here's one (of many, MANY) things I've learned - putting wet brussel sprouts into a very hot pan of oil produces the most magnificent plume of smoke your kitchen has ever seen, and a very far reaching oil splatter on your counters. My husband was not amused.
