I've posted a spreadsheet in the files section of the running budget
and will keep it updated as money comes in. With the people who've
said they are coming but haven't paid yet, I think we will be okay
budget-wise.

On the off chance that we have money left over, what do you guys think
of starting an account as seed money for our next reunion? It might be
more of a pain than it is worth to find volunteers to manage it, get
the signature card passed around, etcetera, but it's a thought I had
on the (very off :) ) chance we have an extra few hundred dollars.

We will definitely talk about it if we have any $$$ left over.

What is your current status of checks? Can I pick up what you have on
Sunday? We are currently about $300 in the hole and have $720 due next
week.

Christine,
Ok, got in from being away for two days and I have a total of $305.00.
I am in Eatonville tomorrow evening to drop off my nephew and I can
swing by your place and give you what I have.
One other thought on the budget if there is such thing as "leftover"
money....has there been any discussion about reimbrusing committee
members for out of pocket expenses if there is funds available.
Postage, supplies, etc.

The checks I received are from Bob Holt, Shery Bates, Brooke
Avkervick, Evan Woodward & Brian Husted...I will email you personally
with amounts.

I've updated the budget spreadsheet as of today. With the money Carole
gets me this weekend, we will be able to pay the DJ. Hopefully we will
get enough next week to make the deposit for the caterer. There are
still several people who've said they are coming who we haven't
received payment for. I am going to give the caterer a headcount of
45... does that sound reasonable?

I think that's totally reasonable.

We need to talk about a program. Since Chandra won't be able to, I
can definately put something together pretty quickly (that won't look
like it was thrown together) but I need to know what to put on it.

Terry~ I sent you an email last night with some ideas Chandra had, did
you get that one? If not, I will re-send.
I think I sent it to both your email addresses.
I also spoke to Bev Barker today, she would like an invite sent to her
so she has the directions. I gave her the jist of where and when, but
promised an announcement. Charles Ronayne is with her so please send
one to both their attention. She has Cori Ortiz' number that she will
give me when she has a chance. (she wasnt at home when I spoke to her)

I got two more payments today for Brenda Schaub & husband Mark and Mke
& Becky Battle. Totaling 175.00

Are we going to have cake at all? Whats everyones thought on that?

you'll be out my way.
Thanks.

That works, with that and the PayPal payments I received today we will
be able to cover the next two payments we need to make. Hopefully we
will get enough late responses to cover the additional payment to the
caterer and the ~$400 we are in the hole right now. Yes, I think that
we should pay back committee members for postage, beverages, etcetera
before starting a fund for next time. We have all put out a lot more
than the $100 max we initially agreed on, but it was necessary to pull
it together.

Look at the light at the end of the tunnel... in a week and a few
hours, we'll be drinking!

ugh, I really can type, I think Ive been in a hurry, I tried
correcting the above, and still said 475.00 instead of 175.00, sorry
the $ became a 4!!! RRRRR!
Anyhow....Yes cant wait to be sipping drinks and taking it all in, in
a few short days.
Talk to you soon.

i just had it explained to me: "sipping drinks" is when you've got a
really full drink in each hand and you're trying to top them off to
avoid spilling.
