YAY! The last week of details!

- We will be having an online meeting at 9pm tonight, 8/17

- I met with the bartender yesterday. He is cool and is bringing his
girlfriend, also a bartender, to help. We have worked out a good
pricing structure for drinks and should have a mix of imbibes that
will make everyone happy.

- Terry is picking up aprons and tablecloths today

- I have emailed Bob asking him to try to get some more of the guys to
come

- We are good for bussing, set up, etcetera help

- I am picking up recycle and garbage bins and citronella today

- I will pick up checks from Carole today

- Insurance, equipment, and toilets are paid for.

- I will get items the bartender needs this week

- I am going to try to find some blue and white petunias to help
decorate the tent area

- I will swing by the dollar store today to pick up the other
"trophies"

- Carole, if you want to pick up a sheet cake that would be terrific.
I think it would be fun to have... I wish we had more budget to do
something really cool.

- I will work on the things that Terry needs to announce. Carole, can
you add what needs to be done for the surveys, etcetera?

- Pray for decent weather. I don't know how it can be 98 one weekend
and 60 and rainy the next!

The surveys are done and printed, as are the awards. My husband is
working on name badges as we speak, it seems to be a bit time
consuming, but I think they'll be cool if they turn out. I'll order
the cake. Is Costco ok? I was trying to decide what to do, I think
I'll order white cake (whipped topping) with chocolate mousse inside.
Any suggestions? What do you want the writing to say? EHS class of
1988

I have a white table cloth that should work for the memorabilia
table...we can put the cake on there... maybe off to the side, or in
the middle....Its a 6 foot table. Then we can set up the other things
like Yearbook, pictures, etc around it.
I picked up some chips and nuts....did you ask Bob to grab some chips
as well? How many did you say each person to bring?
What else? Anything? I'll wait to hear.

Looks like I am going to have to get the disposable cameras online. Any
thoughts to quantity? I'm thinking 4 dozen? At 1.85 a piece that’s less
than $50.

Does someone have some white/clear Christmas type string lights to use
in the tent?

Oh, I think I do have lights...I know I do, but its a matter of
finding them. Let me se what I can come up with. Im going to my
storage unit tomorrow for some other stuff so I'll look.
The cameras...are we doing them both nights? If yes, then that would
be plenty! If just one night, then its probably quite a few. We need
to make sure that there is a place to drop them or let others know not
to take them right? We want to develop them and make a CD or something
correct? So we just gotta remember to let others know to leave them
behind.
No others payments came in yesterday.

thats cool, I always take a million pics no matter where I go so my
camera holds like 400 or more......umm...in the program, you could
mention that the notebooks at the tables are for memories, messages,
addresses, sentiments etc that classmates want to write inside...they
could be used for whatever we decide to send out later like a memory
book or cd or what have you. And we'll keep them for the next reunion
as a keepsake. Regarding the awards, you could mention that they need
to be filled out and handed back to one of us or me by a certain time
(not sure when you are wanting to announce awards)
I just ordered the Costco cake today...hope its ok.
