Title: Finance Product Analyst
Location: Dallas TX

Need to be local to TX.

Individual will support Client Finance Business Unit. Must be able to work with multiple teams and business stakeholders simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements and perform impact analysis.
• Evaluate data systems, operations, and security aspects.
• Own the end-to-end analysis and documentation of business procedures including all logic, validations for data integrity and accuracy, and dependencies involved to create functional design documents.
• Document and organize business flows to enable successful implementation of  solutions by working across various teams, to meet the customer needs.
• Support the design,  implementation  and testing in short agile release cycles of in-house development end-to-end. 
• Engage with vendor teams for data collection as required.
• Bring up the creative thinking and problem solving abilities to promote a robust reporting climate.
• Serves as a subject matter expert.

 

Must Have: Required Skills/Experience

• Hands-on experience and knowledge as a business system analyst type role implementing and/or leading enterprise software, in the areas of ETL (Informatica, Snowflake.), Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence reporting/analytic tools (Tableau)
• Experience with ERP Financials and Salesforce as key data sources for reporting
• Strong background in driving, gathering and owning business requirements, assessments, solutioning specially in the areas of data analysis, data extraction/delivery, source/target transformation/mappings and reporting.
• Identify test scenarios, own and develop test scripts, execute end to end and testing and facilitate user acceptance testing. Work effectively with the technical/development team and help them understand the specifications/requirements for technical development, testing and implementation.
• Provide functional leadership and work successfully as a liaison with various internal business/technical partners, coordinating the solution design to delivery in short agile release cycles. Ability to quickly connect business requirements to the functional capabilities of an application and assess the applicability of different product technologies to business problems; ability to learn new applications and technologies.
• Engage with vendor teams for data collection as required
• Hands-on experience with databases and using SQL tools like SQL developer, SQLplus, Toad for data query, analysis and validating test results.
• Proven ability to coordinate a diverse set of business users to develop cohesive and streamlined requirements, documentation and user acceptance criteria.
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams with the flexibility to work in different time zones.

Good to Have:

• Experience with leading technologies and platforms, such as Salesforce,  Workday, Coupa,
• Experience with Predictive Analytics
• Possess business functional domain knowledge in areas like Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance.
