Ed, Jenny, Sherry - please review the page I added to our group and
the form I created to solicit responses for committee participation
and comments on the mission statement. Let me know if you have
suggestions for improvement before I send it out (or if there are bugs
to work out, or you think it's too complicated for people to use. )

The forms seem to function well. Since the local foods directory will
be a "living" document needing frequent updates, we may need to give
the committee some sense of when they can consider it
finished...otherwise, how will they know when they're done? I"m
thinking something broad like 5 counties represented, 100+ individual
items, or distribution in paper form to 5-10 local groceries. That
way, the committee members won't feel chained to an un-ending project,
and when it's done a smaller and/or different group could manage
updates.

Good point.  do you think it needs to be addressed in these notes, or when we constitute the committee?
