to Easy Sync
I understand with Easy Sync I do a "full" backup of my Axim device.
But when I try to select all files to copy by leaving the highest
level on the tree visible, all that is backed up is the contents of my
SD card. I understand that ES does not back up the files that
ActivSync backs up, like Contacts and Calendar, which are on the
device's main memory (not the SD card). But does this mean that Easy
Sync only backs up the SD card? Thanks

Easy Sync can do a full backup for you. Not only your storage card. When selecting a folder on your mobile device - click the top-most node in the tree (it has no caption, just "-"). All files (except system) will be copied to your computer after you run the full backup task.
