Bonjour Marc, tous

Exception in component tMysqlInput_1
com.mysql.jdbc.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure due to underlying exception:

** BEGIN NESTED EXCEPTION **

java.net.SocketException
MESSAGE: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

Cordialement

Hi Gwendal

First and foremost, what do you need that for ? is that a one time need, a batch one or even a live one ?? What kind of integration do you look for ?
If you've chosen a solution for your business problem and are starting to implement it, I'd really like to know it first, because at some point I myself to be able to build on it ! So please call me if it's the case.

Now about your problem :

Just tried an ssh port forwarding-based solution as described at:
https://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/133/Tunnel+local+MySQL+server+through+SSH#gs
and it fails because user axxx@[vmhost] is not allowed to access MySQL, so I guess your Talend job has the same problem.

You can set the missing privileges with a GRANT SELECT... followed by a FLUSH PRIVILEGES yourself following the example at:
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-create-a-new-user-and-grant-permissions-in-mysql

Hello Marc,

I still can't connect to the mysql server from my computer with the right privileges. When can i call you to resolve it and speak about the business solution to sam data utilization?
