Screencasting without a chrome extension or prerequisite

Is there a way that i can create a native

screencasting

that doesn't need to have a chrome o firefox entension.

Cause right now i'm using the easyrtc and they have a prerequisite to download first this chrome/firefox extension.

There is no firefox extension because you don't need an extension on firefox.

If you write your own native application for each platform you want to support, you should be able to screencast without any extra pieces. That's a lot of work of course.

There is no way to screencast from chrome without an extension because it's security policy forced by chrome.
