Come out Monday the 9th and ride up to PIR to see the Winter Wonderland which is apparently billed as “The Largest Holiday Light Show West of the Mississippi”. It is the one car-free bike-only night and I have managed to miss it every year so this will be all new to me.
I’ll head to Green Dragon (928 SE 9th Ave) around 4:00-4:30 and will be there for a bite and a happy hour drink. We’ll leave Green Dragon at 6:00 to ride up to PIR (about 7.5 miles) and look at the pretty. Admission to the Winter Wonderland is $6, of which $1 will be donated to the BTA. Bring cash because they don’t take cards.
After the lights we’ll bike to Kenton Station (8303 N Denver Ave ) and grab a snack and a drink. There is a Yellow line MAX station just around the corner or you can ride with me back to the start.
We will still be hosting the regularly scheduled Sunday ride on December 15th .This is a bonus ride.
