Hey Y'all!
Hope everyone had a fun bikey weekend in the sun- looks like this
weekend is going to be even better! So join us this Sunday for a laid
back trip down to the Milwaukee Farmers Market (it just started up
last weekend!), a super sweet down-home fun-for-the-whole-family
happening with live music and the pick of the spring-harvest litter!
After browsing and filling our panniers with cruciferous goodness,
we'll head down the way a bit for a picnic lunch on Elk Rock Island
(
http://tinyurl.com/o92z4n), one of Milwaukee's best kept secrets, and
one of my favorite places for a picnic. If the river's too high to get
across, we can still picnic in the park nearby. Also, bike parking is
very sparse, so we'll have to make a bike pile- if you have an extra
cable lock (in addition to your U-Locks), it'd be nice to bring.
And after the ride, we'll have some beers (of course) at Roots
Brewery. Yay!
We're going to keep a super easy-like-sunday-morning pace, so this
ride is cruiser-trail-a-bike-mom-dad-kid-and-doggie-in-a-trailer
friendly. Hope you can make it!
