We've made some changes to the ZIP manager to add functionality and make it easier to use.

The new options will show up on the indexes the next time the group is "refreshed."

More queues:
The zip manager now supports up to 10 zip queues

Copy queues:
You can copy files between queues on the "edit" page.

Next Empty/Next Unlocked:
You can fill the next empty or next unlocked queue so you don't get error messages about your default queue being locked.

Multi-queue clear:
You can clear multiple queues with fewer clicks by selecting the zip queues to clear using checkboxes.

This is in the good sense of "the man" not in the School of Rock sense...
as in why doesn't the man ever add new features. This is in the vein of...
Swany is the man for adding new features!

Will this also work with Global Search?

Yes. The indexes, regular search, global search, par viewer, and nzb
viewer have all been updated to reflect the new features.

Can anybody think of anyplace that I missed? :)

Not seeing the change in regular indexes, but I guess a wait of a few
hours is in order there, before all the pages are updated. You missed
the up-to-the-minute page, and the files-by-a-specific-poster-within-
the-last-5-minutes-page, but I've not really found either terribly
useful recently, since either the group search or global search perform
the same functions, and better.

Damnit! You finally made my sig obsolete! :)

But way-cool improvements.
2 Gigs, 5000 files and 10 Queues, that's really cool!
And the easier deletion is great too!

And I see you changed quite a few internals as well.
No more ".remove" string in the form fields, but instead "#" before the
extension. So still not the same format as on the rest of the site. And
the old format still works. Interesting... :)

A small gripe:
the zip manager still seems to remove spaces from filenames, even *if*
they are correctly submitted to it (which they aren't normally anyway,
since the whole site replaces them with underscores, but don't you want
to be ready for the future? :)
OK i admit, this is just to make it easier for my pet project, the
easynews filefixer:
http://de.geocities.com/hugo_rune0/easyfilefixMozilla.html
I'm probably the only one who is bothered by this, so I understand if
chaging this is not a priority :)

And there still seems to be the small cross-site-scripting issue I
mailed support about a while ago. (But I dont know if that should be
considered a real security risk since it is quite obscure.)

Eznews is seriously awesome! Can wait for the rollovers in October. Would it be wrong to name my first born "Eznews" or Godzilla?
