I am not sure. I saw this group show up recently and I subscribed to it
because I am a self taught Canon CLC 1000 tech and I am often looking to
give and receive help and tips.

So what is a Canon CLC 1000?

A CLC 1000 is a large color laser copier which prints 31 pages per minuite
and usually requires a tech for regular maintenance. I have to maintain it
myself since there are no techs in this area.

What? I... voluntarily... subscribed to a... a... a news group for copiers
<blink>? Uh... all right... I'll bite... what's it's DPI? How heavy is it?
Have you been tempted to take it out into the wilderness and shoot it with a
high powered rifle?

In fact, easynet.tech is a newsgroup intended for technical discussions
among customers (and occasionally staff) of easynet Ltd, a UK Internet
Service Provider. Like other groups in the easynet.* hierachy, it is
propagated globally, so other Internet Service Providers and News
Service Providers can add it to their active files, should they so wish.

To be fair, this is the most interesting discussion that's been
going on in here for months.

I thought that was an 1150?

1150 sounds correct. The 1000 is an older machine but it is about twice as
big as the 1150 and weighs about 1000 lbs. It prints 31ppm while the 1150
prints 11ppm.

Definitely an 1150, I just checked the badge on the front.
