I just joined the ADSL world. My ADSL modem/4-port router works OK with my
PC card, but I want to connect it through another router (Netgear RT311)
into a hub. Problem is, I can't get that config to work.

The config I've tried most things around is:

BT ADSL modem/router > RT311 'Internet' connection
RT311 'Local' connection > hub > PC

RT311 is set to DNS Proxy and serves as same when ADSL modem/router not
connected
Gateways are set for ADSL router and RT311

I've tried with hub uplink ON and OFF, and with straight and X-over cable
between routers.

Any ideas?

I can get ADSL > hub > PC to work OK, with daisy-chained hubs, but the RT311
won't play. Still looking for ideas - S
