Can't open files that are completely downloaded

Hello, I've been using easymule for some time and everything was fine
on my old PC when I was running on Windows XP OS. On my laptop, I'm
running on Vista (which I loathe!) with easymule V 1.1.7. Downloading
works fine, but when easymule says the file has finished loading, I
can only see the .rar.part file in my incoming folder, and not the
completed .rar file.

When I transfer the part file to my PC, it finishes loading and
the .rar file does appear in my incoming folder.

So is this a Vista issue, or my AVG 9, or what?! I've been hunting
around for answers, but can't find any.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

I'm using adminstrator account type to run easymule, and UAC feature
is enabled.
As for the default saving directory it's this:
C:\Program Files\easyMule\Incoming
But I can't for the life of me find the .rar files there!

It appeared that a lot people having this problems recently, I did
find my old file using the above method though,
