i realized that when i disable the windows firewall, the emule can run
and no crash... but when i allow easyemule to be the exception on both
private and public, it still crashes... may i know how to allow
exception only for the necessary programs or ports? what are those
necessary ports for emule? so that i can enable the firewall.

You can see ports in "Options"-"Connection"-"Client port". easyMule 1.0 and 2.0 can running on all Windows version but 9x and the latest 7.We also pay attention to the latest developments Windows7, easyMule after the official release will support it. Please take heed of this group or easymule.com.
