Several updates have been made available to all users of EasyLog 5 regardless of their support status.  These can be found on www.easylog.com/wiki.  As always, be sure to backup your logs before installing any of these updates because that is the only way to recover in the unlikely event that something goes wrong.

1.  The check file from which DXCC entities are determined from the call sigh was updated on October 1, 2009.  Navigate to www.easylog.com/wiki and scroll down to the Awards Update section.  Click on the "Check Download Page" link.  Please read the instructions and follow them carefully.

2. A new feature that will make sure that your DXCC table includes all of the deleted countries has been placed on www.easylog.com/wiki.  Navigate to www.easylog.com/wiki and scroll down to the Awards Update section.  Click on the "Add deleted countries to your DXCC table" link.  Please read the instructions and follow them carefully.

3. The Manager Database has been updated.  Navigate to www.easylog.com/wiki and scroll down to the Awards Update section.  Click on the "Manager Update Page" link.  Please read the instructions and follow them carefully.

4. A new QRZcom.dll file is available for those who have EasyLog 5 version 5.5.0.0 or greater.  If you are unable to access QRZ.com from EasyLog 5 you can download a new file that will restore that capability.  Navigate to www.easylog.com/wiki and scroll down to the QRZ.com section.  Click on the "Download the New QRZcom.dll" link.  When you download this file, instruct your browser to download it to your EL5 folder and replace the existing file.  If your browser insists on downloading to a "downloads" folder, copy the file from that folder to your EL5 installation folder and replace the existing file.
