New DXCC Update Utility and QSL Manager database update available

The following free updates are now available free on www.easylog.com/wiki to all users of EasyLog 5.
 
There is a new DXCC Update Utility.  Click on the link named "Check Download Page".  you will be taken to the page where you can download the new DXCC Update Utility.  Click on the link "download the check updater" to download the zipped file for the Update Utility.  If you have not done so before, please download and read the manual that is available by clicking the link "download the installation instructions".  Information about the changes the current release of the utility makes to the check.dat file is on the Check Download Page. 
 
This utility program is used to update the Check file which EasyLog 5 uses to recognize the DXCC entity from the call sign. 
 
There has also been an update to the QSL Manager data base.  Click the link for "Manager Update Page" for instructions for downloading and installing this update as well. 

 

Please make sure that you use the Backup and Restore module to backup all your logs before running the utility.  In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, restoring the backup is the ONLY way to recover.
