EasyLog 5 manuals and other topics

Some time back, I started revising all of the English manuals for EasyLog to bring them up to date with the current release.  I have completed all except the main manual.  That manual is quite large and is going to take some more time to complete.  However, all the completed manuals, along with the current version of the main manual, have been made available for download on my site (shown in the signature below) and on the Google Group "easylog_newsletter_eng".  You do not have to be a member of the Google Group to download the files containing the manuals.

 

There is a new Beta version of EasyLog 5 that is available on the main page of EasyLog Wiki, www.easylog.com/wiki.   While you are on EasyLog Wiki, the check file (detection of country from call sign) was updated on November 6, 2009.  The manager database was updated on November 6, 2009.  The custom awards database was updated on November 11, 2009.  Be sure to backup your logs before installing any of these updates.  That is the only way to recover in the unlikely event that something should go wrong.  Read and follow the instructions on EasyLog Wiki for doing the installations.
