We have an urgent requirement with one of our client kindly let me know if you are interested.

 

Job title: Cassandra Technical Architect

Location: NYC

Duration: Long Term

1. Hands on experience in the whole SDLC cycle. High performance computing, distributed computing, Public service cloud hands on will be added advantage.
2. Person MUST have Cassandra data modelling hands on experience and at least 2-3 live project experience. Data modelling experience in other database like RDBMS, MySQL, and Oracle. Experience in PL-SQL, SQLs should be able to transform data processing across the storage/platform.
3. Experience in End-to-End enterprise process development, with high availability with robust design.
4. Java, J2EE, API Design, Web technologies like JSP, servlet, Tomcat etc, design patterns implementation with best practice. Applicant should be able to design and lead the implementation from front with team, should be able to communicate with direct client and mentor them with design thinking, deep understanding of ground level development to higher level design.
5. Experience in Linux skills like installing any software, Vim, Shell scripting and good to have any other scripting knowledge like Perl, python etc.
6. Cluster design experience in Hadoop, HBase or Cassandra etc. infrastructure understanding in cloud like PAAS and SAAS will be added advantage.
7. Experience in build and deployment tools like TFS, SVN, and Maven etc.
