Up until a day so ago the sync function worked flawlessly.
I don't think much has changed on my site but suddenly new appointments no longer show in the Google calendar.
I removed and re-installed the Beta connector and reconfigured the google auth client id and secret.
Also added the calendar links again.

Sync log below, I created a new appointment at 20:29.... as you can see the log shows no new appointments.
The confirmation email works and the appointment shows up in the EA admin appointment area (and the time is blocked).
For all intents and purposes EA thinks the time is booked but nothing is pushed to Gcal.

Thanks
SP

Question: Are you checking your Gcal from your desktop browser, or in some other fashion?

Hi Mickey

Desktop browser, Chrome and Safari on 2 computers (Win/Mac) and also iPhone app.
I tried clearing cache as that caught me out before.
I found yesterday that Gcal will sync back to EA but EA won't send new appointments to Gcal.
Going to roll back to an earlier backup today as for me it's an important feature.

Hi Sandra.

I did a bit of research and it appears that this is possibly some sort of on-going issue with Gcal. (See: https://help.timetastic.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/203174832-Google-Calendar-Not-Updating

However, I wonder whether there might be an ssl type issue in here somewhere (though this might be with Google as they are trying to move to 3 factor auth on a lot of things and may have pooched the code.) Please let me know whether your roll-back helps?

Thanks, the roll back worked.

It took me back to just before the last EA update, I also did a bit of work on SEO 2 weeks ago but everything seemed fine at the time.
We noticed the odd appointment not showing about 4 days ago.
I think it's possible that somehow the SEO  messed with the code in EA.

I'm happy enough for now. We manually record sessions as well so we were able to fill in the gaps (about 10 appointments were missing).

I will leave it for a few days then backup and then apply the update again and check the performance.

Awesome. I'm not sure how changes in SEO could affect the Gcal functionality. Interesting. Thanks for the update.

I don't know either, just speculating on all the changes made about 2 weeks ago.
I don't do php so I can't analyse the code. For me, restoring the backup is the easiest fix.

It's a great program, works well generally and does what I need.
