Backend stooped working

Hi there.

The backend has stopped working for no apparent reason, but the frontend is working fine.
How can I fix this without losing the current data?

Check the logs. I'm guessing something changed on your system that affected php or permissions

Thank you, Temi B for your answer.

The problem is that I can open the backend and see older data, but I can't see any new data from May 10 onward; the system for these days is empty. However, customers can log in without any problems via the frontend, In other words, data is in the system.

Strange 🙁

Any other suggestions?

The logs showed that I needed to update my version 1.4.3 to the latest version 1.5.2.
So I tried to do that following the instructions ...

... but update process was very, very, very painful :-(

An error appeared immediately '500 Internal Server Error' and the only solution was restore back the original database.

And so on and on :-(

The only solution was to work with Claude to gradually migrate the old database to the v1.5 schema, step by step :-(
