This is a sync error I get when attempting to sync my Google calendar. It says 'The operation could not complete due to unexpected issues. The appointment duration is less than the minimum duration (5 minutes).' And nothing happens - calendar items are not loaded.

I don't know what 'appointment' it is referring to. Assuming it is something in the Google calendar it doesn't like I synced to a different one fine. However, I would prefer to use the original.

I tried creating a service that lasted less than 5 minutes just to see if this would induce syncing, but the error persisted.

So I assume some event in my original calendar, past or future, is less than 5 minutes in length and is causing Easy!Appointments to gag. I see no way to search and destroy this event. Is there a workaround other than ditching my calendar and syncing an alternative?

Thanks.

Hello!

I remember there was an issues with all-day appointments and syncing in one of the older versions but that should have been addressed.

Which version are you using?

Do you have any all-day appointments?

Do you have any appointments that are less than 5 minutes?

Hey Alex, I started to get this same error recently when I sync to Google calendar. Using version 1.4.2.

Is there a log where I can see what appointment is causing the error? I'm failing to find appointment's less than 5 minutes duration in my calendar so maybe the error message is not correct.

Thanks

Hello!

Do you have an all-day event  too when getting this?

I am getting the same thing.

Is there a way to find out when the appointment is so I can remove it?

Hello!

I think this has to do with all day events not being recognized correctly.

For further troubleshooting, modify Appointments model class and add a var_dump or similar to see the data of the appointment trying to be saved (it should actually be an unavailability block)

Another solution would be to decrease the EVENT_MINIMUM_DURATION to 0 in /application/config/constants.php

Although this might make issues in other places in UI

Let me know of your findings so this could be fixed.
