Ignore "Free" Calendar Entries

Easy!Appointments is great! Thank you so much for this great tool, Alex! 👍

Nevertheless, we do have one problem, and hopefully somebody in this forum can help us:

We are synchronizing calendars between Easy!Appointments <-> Nextcloud <-> Outlook. 

This works pretty well mostly, but not for "free"-marked time slots. Whenever we are marking a time slot as "free" in an Outlook Calendar (instead of "booked" or "out of office", etc.), Easy!Appointments thinks this time slot is "blocked".

In fact, "free" in Outlook means the exact opposite: While there is text found in this time slot, this shall NOT block people from booking this time slot. Is there a way to configure Easy!Appointments so it treats "free"-marked time slots from an Outlook Calendar as "free to book" instead of "blocked from booking"?

Hello Markus,

There's currently no way to define free time in Easy!Appointments, as all these events are being synchronized as unavailability periods.

One way to do this would be to either add a new status for free, or we can skip syncing free events towards EA

A small change in the CalDAV sync library will actually already do the latter quite easily.

Alex, I do not see a benefit of adding "free" state in EA. IMHO the straightforward solution would be if the CalDAV sync library simply ignores "free" events.

So you will modify the EA Sync in 1.6?
