Request to Restrict Visibility of Customer Telephone Number

Hi,

I have a question regarding user permissions.

Is it possible to hide the customer telephone number field from certain users? Specifically, we would like the receptionist to be able to enter and view the telephone number, while restricting other users from seeing this field.

In other words, can access to the telephone number be controlled based on user roles or permissions?
